Ntel is undoubtedly the cheapest 4g data provider to have operated in Nigeria, but after sometime, their website had a downtime that many thought they would not recover from! But they are back and today, I would reveal 3 things that were rather kept private from the public and other blogs.
NTEL IS BACK? WHEN? WHY?
Like I said at the beginning of this post, Ntel data plans were ridiculously cheap, thanks to the special kind of sim they sold called WAWU SIM. With the sim, you can buy as much s 12gb worth of superfast data at the cheap cost of a thousand naira.
1. WHY THEY TOOK A “BREAK”
Their data was cheap. This is truly uncommon, and you would agree to that. But then, NTEL had to devise a plan so that they would not run at a loss. So they came up with a strategy; to stop the sale of the WAWU sim, but not stop the service itself as many people thought. As at noon today, I bought the 1gb wawu plan that gave me 6gb data for just N500. But, you will not be able to purchase or register a new WAWU sim. I guess that is fair enough, as if everyone ccan get the WAWU sim, they would run out of business. So, they devisedthis plan and it seems to be an excellent one.
2. THEIR PHONE LINES ARE DEAD
Quite disappointing to me, their phone line 0700-NTEL-LIVE isnt going. I just hear a ‘Thank you’ recorded reply and it hangs up! Sad, isnt it?
3. HOW TO BUY NTEL DATA WITHOUT THEIR WEBSITE
